Lung Meridian

The Lung Meridian of Hand Tai Yin starts at the Middle Jiao and travels down to connect with the Large Intestine. It then winds back up to the upper orifice of the Stomach, through the diaphragm, and enters the lungs. From there, it emerges at LU-1 (Zhongfu) and goes up to LU-2 (Yunmen). From LU-2, the meridian goes down to the antero-lateral aspect of the upper arm, down to the elbow crease, and down along the anterior border of the radial side in the forearm to Cunkou (radial pulse). It then passes the thenar eminence and terminates at the medial side of the thumb nail bed.

The secondary branch of the Lung Meridian begins at LU-7 (Lieque) and connects to LI-1 (Shangyang) before finally linking to the Large Intestine meridian.
